In a complete departure from her role as the sweet and tolerant Maddie on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Tisdale also has a lead singing and dancing role in the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, High School Musical.
Tisdale's television credits include series regular roles in Nathan's Choice and The Howie Mandel Pilot. She had recurring roles on George Lopez, Still Standing and The Hughleys and guest starred on Grounded for Life, Strong Medicine, Boston Public and 7th Heaven.
Born in Monmouth, New Jersey, Tisdale was discovered at the age of three in her hometown mall by talent manager Bill Perlman who continues to represent her today. After landing a job off her very first audition, Tisdale went on to star in more than 100 national network commercials. At the age of eight she booked the leading role in the Broadway musical Les Miserables. She then toured internationally with the production of Annie.
When Tisdale isn't in school or pursuing her acting career her passions include singing (she sang at the White House at the age of 12 and sings in an episode of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody), hanging out with her friends and shopping.
Born July 2, she resides in Los Angeles with her sister Jennifer, also an actress, and her parents Mike and Lisa.
